Hearth

A private assistant that runs on your own Mac and talks to your iPhone. It has no server, and nothing you say or read leaves your devices.

What it does

• Vesta, the assistant, answers from a language model running on your Mac. You talk to it from the phone with push-to-talk, and it replies in a voice made on the Mac.
• The inbox helper sorts your Gmail every morning. It groups new mail, proposes what to archive and what to file, unsubscribes from senders you never open after you tap yes, and keeps everything undoable for 30 days. It never sends, never deletes, and never reads a message body.

Where it stands

Hearth is early software in private use by its founder in Australia. It is not available to download. This site exists so that the Gmail connection can be set up under Google's rules, and so the privacy policy has a home.
